We think that she waited for us to come home for the evening to give birth. Nothing too crazy this time -everything went just fine. Three little new kittens -all looking like chicks when they were first born! All seem healthy and we have started to notice little black marks on the two white ones on their noses and ears! Snowy isn't nearly as protective as she used to be with the kids. She is a lot more permissive of us being around them than before. Needless to say thoug we expect this to be her last litter! |

Snowy's 2nd litter - July 2nd update 2003
2 weeks later. They have all managed to open their eyes and walk around on their own accord. Momma is still pretty protective and I'm sure it's driving her crazy to see that her kittens are beginning to roam around the room now any chance they get. The real entertainment starts now! It looks like most of them have blue eyes but you just don't know if the color will stay or change at this point. They still don't use the litter box or eat regular solid kitten food so momma has her hands full at the moment! |

Snowy's 2nd litter - born Sunday morning, June 13th 2003
A total of 6 kittens this time. Her first litter was only 4 -and they all looked the same (just like the grey one with stripes you see below). We were afraid there would simply be more of the same this time but we were happy to see a good variety of colors this time. We don't know yet if their eyes are anything like their Mom (one blue and one green) but we'll be sure to check real soon. | ||||||
